Workers Compensation:
Workers’ Compensation is a system which requires your
employer to pay your medical costs and part of your lost wages if you are
injured on the job. To receive benefits, all work-related injuries must be
reported to your employer within 30 days of the incident. You may choose your
licensed doctor and may change doctors once. You can be reimbursed for travel
to the doctor’s office, including public transportation or taxi, if you keep
mileage or your receipts. Receiving benefits requires that you get needed treatment
per the doctor’s treatment plan and follow your doctor’s advice.

Personal Injury (automobile):
Personal Injury insurance applies to all automobile accidents and occasionally to accidents where a property owner's insurance covers accident-related medical costs. To receive benefits, a bodily harm claim must be filed--usually with your own insurance and whether or not you are at fault. You may choose your
licensed doctor. You can be reimbursed for travel
to the doctor’s office, including public transportation or taxi, if you keep
mileage or your receipts. You can also be reimbursed for missing work if your injury and/or receiving proper treatment cause you to do so. Receiving benefits requires that you get needed treatment
per the doctor’s treatment plan and follow your doctor’s advice.
